Creative Healing in the Garden is about sharing new energy and creative solutions with healthy vital joyful choices. We are calling this Neo Traditional Community.

The Garden contains many answers to many challenging questions we have. Creative Healing is about re balancing our lifestyle, reconnecting with the soil, and being responsible to ourselves and our planet . We gather in the Ceremonial Garden to share, to experience and explore new creative healing ideas.

We are now being awakened to a “Nature Centric Movement,” Its about community building, peacemaking, reawakening the village model and giving back to the soil and soul. This path is based on Ancient wisdom combined with modern advances and solutions. This will help sustain resilience on a rapidly changing planet.

By participating in the Sacred Round Dance with Steven and Kat we are healing our connection to the earth and ourselves, as indigenous people have known all along. The Eagle Dance is a powerful Sacred Indigenous Healing Ceremony.

Permeating Wellness

People know me as an Artist. For many many years I have been creating in the metals and producing very large outdoor Public Art Sculptures for San Diego, down by the water front, for Hospitals and Botanical Gardens. I will always be a creative type however these days I am being pulled on this awakening path of Creativity and Healing.  Creating wellness for myself, family, and  friends who are inclined is a new passion for me. It must be my age. Propagating wellness throughout our lives is a daily responsibility. Living in balance with nature is not only a concept but a solution to permeate wellness in our lives. With so many toxins and stresses and (miss) adventures, it is time to adjust to our new solutions for ourselves and our planet. For the better we are rediscovering new ways based on ancient indigenous traditions to resolve some of today’s issues. Be ready the information is downloading fast.

A Journey of Self for Health

Recently I needed to get away, to get back in touch with nature, and to renew my connection to my courageous self.  I decided to get away from it all. I told everyone I was going on a soul pleasing journey to Costa Rica…alone for 3 weeks in the rain forest. In the past, my favorite adventures include searching for pure waterfalls and finding the inner peace these majestic waters give off from the enormous amount negative ions they produce. I wonder who said “Don’t go chasing waterfalls”? Waterfalls fascinate my soul.

I did the research and solidified my arrangements. I felt comfortable with my choices and plans. For the first 5 days and nights. I was nestled in a 6 room villa in Dominical, (Waterfall Villa) above a gorgeous naturally cascading crystal clean waterfall in the jungle.

Under the waterfall  I spent time reflecting and enjoying this earthy sweet treasure, I received so much love from the waterfall.  Just knowing that the water is pure, clean  and originating from an underground aquifer higher in elevation, gives me peace. Each of my senses was gratified. The aroma of nature, the visual of the water cascading gently all around my being, the sounds were penetrating yet quiet. I certainly found a healthy and safe way to absorb the rain forest. The villa has a Balinese feel and warmth and was  just what I needed to relax, do some yoga and eat very healthy vegan food. This journey was truly feeding my soul.

The next week of the adventure took me to a farm, (una Finca) a 35 year old food forest in Pedrigrosso 1 hr. north of my waterfall in Dominical. The name of the farm is Alba Nueva, New Dawn. This took me back in time to a beautiful sustainable way of living in harmony with Nature and The Soil, although the comforts were minimal, I surly valued the mosquito net and cool daily shower. Each morning we would wake with the sun to a special brew of Medicinal Tea. Soon I would learn the health benefits of the ancient ingredients for this healing tonic of Pau d Arco, Tumeric and Ginger.

The inner bark of the Pau d Arco Tree has been used for centuries as a traditional folklore medicine in Tropical Meso America. The trees were sacred to the Mayas and Incas because of wide range healing. Today people are rediscovering the health benefits of the bark’s ability to restore the body’s natural defenses against disease.

Tumeric (Curcuma) has been used for centuries as an effective botanical medicine. It has a rejuvenating effect on the liver pancreas and digestive system.It is a potent anti inflammatory agent for arthritis pain and stiffness.

Ginger is a revered herbal medicine from China which increases circulation and cleanses the body of impurities.

When combined these three powerful natural ingredients purify the blood, clean the lungs, kidneys and intestines while eliminating infections and parasites. Also this formula improves digestion, balances the nervous system and hormonal function. We can protect against disease, prevent cancer and purify the blood. It takes daily attention and natural healing.

Ed Bernhardt author of “Medicinal Plants of Costa Rica” and the gentleman of the farm has researched and fine tuned this restorative formula for over 30 years. The tea functions as an organic tonic for improving the function of the body and overall health. The Alba Nueva Tea prevents cancer, protects the immune system and purifies the blood. I said to myself. I can use this Restorative Tea for myself and share with my family and friends. When making the plans, I knew that I was going to process medicinal herbs on the farm but I had no idea about the significance of the formula and its healing properties. Every morning we worked on the land either picking and cleaning roots, or chopping down branches of Pau d Arco before setting each out to dry.  Grinding was last and a special chore for Jessica, Ed’s beautiful wife and partner. Working with these healing plants from the soil gives new perspective on how the indigenous ways are truly reminding us how to stay healthy. Drinking the tea daily as a ritual is a simple way to stay healthy and vibrant.

The gift I have received from Jessica and Ed on my adventure in Costa Rica is a blessing. It is time for healing to permeate through Permaculture in limitless and bountiful ways. We are now in the “Nature’s wellvolution”. Taking responsibility daily for our vitality and health in naturally creative ways helps us in so many beneficial ways.

Growing a Viable Alternative Reality for our Earth and Ourselves

As we continue to bridge the ol way of living with the new beat of our Earthly Rights.   We are now being awakened to a “Nature Connection Movement,” Its about community building, peacemaking, and reawakening the village model and giving back to the soil. This path is based on indigenous solutions combined with modern wisdom. Many solutions are being handed to us to help sustain resilience on a rapidly changing planet. I am very proud that our Botanical Garden event made headlines in our local “Coast News”     We must remain resilient with cooperative creative and complimentary,  approaches to life.

Originally I met these Gong Performers in 2013 at the Muth Interpretive Center in Orange County.  Dr. Masaru Emoto and the Native American Female Elders joined together and held A “Healing Our Waters, Healing Our World” Prayer. That experience connects us to the Dr Emoto who is joining the World to the new Earth Healing .  It is true “We can heal ourselves and our planet with our thoughts…Together “. Our Water has memory and carries the vibration out and beyond.

It is time to recognize our creative power and gather in ceremony to celebrate earth traditions.

Alta Vista Botanical Gardens now has a 32′ wide- Four Quadrant Medicine Wheel, designed and built by Environmental Artist Bryan Morse of Expanding Horizons in Vista, CA.
In the Native Tradition for the Medicine Wheel, the East is manifested by Air and for the Ceremony we have Dave Bartels facing East performing on Sumba Gongs. The West is manifested by Water and Facing West we have Jeremy Pfeiffer perfoming on a Water Gong. The South is manifested by Fire and for the Ceremony Craig Kessinger performed there on a Djembe Drum. The North remains open for the Winter Solstice [Dec. 21st] Ceremony where we will set a Marker based on the shadow of the central pillar at noon on the Solstice.
Those who are inclined may join us in celebrating Ancient Indigenous ways at the Winter Solstice Ceremony at noon on December 21 2013 at Alta Vista Botanical Gardens..

As we adapt to so many changes in our lives, we must adjust to a new heart felt frequency. It’s time to create the world we want.  Let’s gather the healing talent and be surrounded by creativity in nature.  We can align our mind’s intention’s with our heart’s desires and send this energy out. As we continue growing Creative Healing in the Garden more and more people who are tuned in, join in.  We share our Healing Talents with those who receive. This is a list: Yoga, QiGong, Tibetan Bowls, Intuitive Creatives, Pranic Healing, Massage, Native American Philosophy with Ancient Traditions.  Plein Air Painters were scattered throughout enjoying the beauty and simplicity. We’ve got to get back in touch with Nature where the answers are. Daily Alternative Healing is the complimentary way to remain healthy and vibrant in light of today’s complexities. Our day in the garden is absolutely opposite the stresses we are facing. Our mission is to nurture and share Healing Energy. My wish is to spread this new awareness. It’s so simple.

Earth Speak – Discussions on Consciousness – an Open Circle of Light

Our 1st  “Earth Speak” meet up was on a full moon, February 24  2013. We are now involved in an “open-circle” of discovery where every voice is allowed to share – for that is how we find ourselves within a group.
Craig Kessinger, Native American researcher and Philosopher of the Cosmos will facilitate this afternoon at Alta Vista Gardens.
Earth Speak, is the very nature of the journey that we transpire through in order to ‘ground’ the heart and mind, and to return our Path to Our Home Our Earth. The purpose of Humanity is to set itself free of the boundaries that this world places upon us, and yet it is those very natures that would also teach and direct us towards discovering the means and measure of our spiritual tasks. During our circles he clarifies bits of I Ching, Kabbalah, along with Subtle Body plus much more. For now he adds a spin on the ancient esoteric’s & metaphysics.
Throw in some spirituality and a unique sense of humor, and Craig knows how to get the discussion going and answer questions along the way.
Together we explore philosophies of consciousness and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of Alta Vista Gardens. Our goal is to grow this awareness from the Alta Vista Gardens out to the community.

Ac Tah, The Gracious Mayan Elder Shares Insight With Us for Winter Solstice 2012

Take a look at this Indigenous Man. Listen to his words. I am so impressed with his understanding and sharing, for the good of Humanity. This insight comes from the Mayan ancients.
